KS1 Singing Festival
On Wednesday 15th March, the children in Year 2 attended the Key Stage 1 Singing Festival at the Grimsby Auditorium. This year the theme was Opera, and the Garsington Opera company created a fantastic story for the children to perform about a Prince and a Princess falling in love.
The children had an amazing day! They were all dressed up as Princesses, Princes, fairies and Sprites. Even the adults joined in with the dressing up theme! The children sang beautifully and really enjoyed the opportunity of working alongside some professional Opera singers.
Emily in 2K said “I enjoyed the whole day, especially getting dressed up!”
