In the school room the Victorian teacher was very strict and had a cane. We used chalk and an ink pen to write letters and numbers.

The toys we looked at were very old and delicate. We saw toys like a shoe doll, wooden cow, cloth book, paper doll and toy mangle.

In the Victorian Kitchen there was no electricity. Most foods were made by hand and took a long time to make. The objects in the kitchen were mainly made from wood, pottery or metal- plastic wasn’t invented in the Victorian times.
