Last week was National Anti-bullying week and on Tuesday we came to school in Odd Socks! It was a very strange feeling but it taught us the importance of being different and that to be different is a good thing.

We read the story of Elmer who wasn’t sure if he liked being different and we talked about what the world would be like if everyone was exactly the same. We thought that it would be a confusing, strange and a bit of a boring place to live. We then all worked together to create our own Elmer by choosing how to decorate our own individual patchwork square. Take a look!

We then came up with lots of ideas of how we could help someone that is being bullied. We each put our suggestion on a link and then made a paper chain. It is to show that we are all standing together against bullies.
