Sams Safari
Today we learnt about different animals when Sam’s Safaris visited us.
We were lucky to see a chinchilla, a stick insect, a tortoise, a turtle, a mouse, a snake, a leopard gecko and a bearded dragon!
We learnt lots of facts.
Did you know that a tortoise can live to be 150 years old?
Did you know that a leopard gecko can lose its tail and grow a new one?
Did you know that snakes have hundreds of vertebrae?
We understood that we needed to be respectful to the animals and we handled them carefully and quietly.
