KS1 Easter Concert
at St Augustines
On Thursday 29th March, Reception, Year One and Year Two went to St Augustine’s Church for our annual Easter Service, which was based on our 'Salvation and Easter' topic as part of our 'Understanding Christianity' unit.
The children retold the Easter Story with each class taking a different section.
- Palm Sunday
- Last Supper
- Garden Arrest
- Crucifixion
- Resurrection
Then we talked about Easter traditions, some classes created and read prayers and Father Edward did his fire eating trick.
A fantastic time was had by all and as usual we enjoyed exceptional behaviour and wonderful singing from all of our children.
