NSPCC Visit

This term, we have welcomed some very special visitors, including Buddy, from the NSPCC into the academy. The whole school enjoyed an interactive assembly on the ‘Speak out Stay safe’ programme. The programme aims to equip children with the knowledge and understanding they need to stay safe from abuse and neglect. Children are taught to speak out if they are worried, either to a trusted adult or Child line.  This was followed by workshops for our pupils in upper key stage two: these important workshops were run by trained NSPCC volunteers and pupils are taught in a lively, memorable and child-friendly way.
