As part of our RE studies about Judaism we found out how the festival of Rosh Hashana is celebrated. We made our own shofar horns to welcome in the New Year and took them outside to blow. We learned that Shana Tova is a greeting used to wish people a good New Year. We had a try at writing some Hebrew letters. We really liked eating the apples dipped in honey to symbolise the sweetness of the New Year.
