I joined Lisle Marsden in 2000 as Deputy Headteacher of the new primary school and was appointed joint Headteacher in 2011 at the time Lisle Marsden chose to become an academy. In January 2015 I became Headteacher of the academy. I very much enjoy my role as Headteacher leading the academy in partnership with our governing body and seeing all our children grow and flourish in their time with us.
Lisle Marsden CE Primary Academy is a popular, successful, oversubscribed and growing school; close to the heart of Grimsby. As a Church of England School we have close links with St Augustine’s, The Grimsby Minster and the Diocese of Lincoln. Our work as a Church school is very important to us and all the staff have the passion and vision to enable the academy to live up to its Mission Statement 'Nurturing the potential and talent of all, through creative and memorable learning, underpinned by the message and teaching of Christ.'
The academy is a very happy place with strong support from governors and the community. I hope your child will be happy and successful during their time at Lisle Marsden. Everyone in the academy aims to do their best for your child and your involvement plays an important part.
I hope you find the information on the website useful. You are welcome to visit the school to discuss any matter concerning your child. Lisle Marsden CE Primary Academy values your support and we look forward to working in partnership with you.
