Year 1 have been learning about Australia and the Great Barrier Reef. This included us looking at creatures that live in the sea. We went to visit the Deep Aquarium in Hull. We were very excited, we saw penguins, stingrays, sharks and turtles. We really enjoyed touching the ice wall, it was very cold! We then went through the tunnel that goes under the main tank. The stingray kept swimming over our heads.
To end the trip we went up the bubble lift. This went through the main tank again, so we got to be in the tank with all the sea creatures.
It was a very long and exciting day, we were very tired and fell asleep on the bus journey home.
