We were all very excited in 2D when we heard that we were going to be the first KS1 class of the new school year to present an assembly. The theme was friendship, which is one of our school values. Unfortunately, Mother Nature’s colours were having a bit of a fall out. Each colour thought that they were more important than the others and some very unkind things were said.
Eventually, with Mother Nature’s help, the colours realised that they are all important because they were all made for a special purpose. Now, when the rain stops and the sun comes out, all the colours work together to make a beautiful rainbow. This rainbow reminds us that we’re not all the same, but we’re all important, and we can all live together as friends.
