Can you tell who is who from our odd socks?
On Odd Socks Day, we celebrated how unique we are and thought about how important it is to accept everybody's differences.
We also thought about how the words we say have an everlasting effect. To demonstrate this, we began with a drawing of a boy. Each time we said something unkind to him, we tore off a strip of paper until he was completely broken. Then, we stuck him back together with kind words. We were pleased when he was whole again but sad that the wounds our words had caused were still visible. The shiny sticky tape that held him together reminded us how we should think before we speak and always treat each other with kindness.
