On Thursday and Friday before Remembrance Sunday we spent time in school thinking about the importance of Remembrance today. We made our own memorial outside and put crosses and poppies there with messages on. We thought about what it would have been like to hear that war was over and we made flags and bunting to have our own Armistice Day celebration.
On Monday after Remembrance Sunday we walked to the cenotaph and took our own tribute to leave there. We looked at the other poppy wreath tributes that were there. We had a minutes silence to think about the soldiers from all of the wars and we said a prayer.
