Lincolnshire Life

In October we visited the Museum of Lincolnshire Life in Lincoln as part of our theme looking at old toys. In the morning we took part in 3 workshops. The Victorian school room, the Victorian kitchen and laundry and investigating old toys. In the school room the teacher was really strict.

We enjoyed touching the old toys and thinking about the children who might have played with them. The shoe doll was quite sad because the little girl didn’t have any money to buy any toys and she used an old shoe instead. We had our lunch then we played on the play park. After that we went to look at the giant steam engines and the old shops. We had a great day and the people there were very nice.. We wrote with chalk and ink pens. In the kitchen the maid told us all about her day and what she used to make things without electricity.
