Courageous Advocacy

We are very excited about the launch of our whole-school courageous advocacy project. We spent an afternoon thinking about what food poverty is, and how it is a barrier to learning for some children living in our locality, living nationally and living globally. We learnt about the story of Jesus feeding the 5000, and how the story shows us that God has provided enough food for everyone if we share. To help us remember that important message, we made tasty bread and colourful fishes. As a school, we have set ourselves a challenge to show that we care about others and want to make a difference. By July, we are hoping that, together, we will have taken over a quarter of a million steps:

‘A step in the right direction for every child living in poverty.’
