In Science, we have been learning about the Earth, Sun and Moon. The children have spent time identifying how they move in relation to each other and how they are part of the Solar System. In our most recent lessons, time has been spent identifying how the phases of the Moon change over a 28 day period so that we see it differently in the sky.
The children have been investigating how craters are formed on the moon; using meteorites the children worked in groups to identify how the size and distance of a meteorite impacted on the size of the crater formed on the Moon. It was great to see everyone working well to carry out their investigation in groups. Great work!
