Freeze Frames

As part of Guided Reading this week, each group were using freeze frames to develop their understanding of the texts studied.  After spending time reading and discussing the texts, each group considered which parts of the text they were unable to make any connections with, parts they did not have any background knowledge of.  Working as a group, they discussed the identified parts and created freeze frames to develop their understanding and provide them with a new form of background knowledge.

 

Each group worked well together to capture the specific words or phrases they identified together.
